THE BOOK OF THE ACTS OF THE APOSTLES IS CONTINUING

REGULAR BIBLE STUDY

"He did not say anything to them without using a parable. But when he was alone with his own disciples, he explained everything." Mark 4:34 (NIV)
When Jesus addressed the people, he used many parables or stories. While it was relatively easy for people to identify with some of these stories,
many people had difficulty understanding. Our Scripture this week shows us that it is easy to obtain "understanding" or "revelation knowledge".
If we become true disciples of Jesus, He will personally "explain" those things we do not fully understand. We need to become part of his inner
circle and He, through the Holy Spirit, will give us the revelation knowledge we need to serve Him even better. We can become part of that inner
circle by drawing closer to Him in prayer, in personal devotions, in praise and worship, and in being in His Word on a very regular, daily basis.
Then He will meet us and explain "EVERYTHING".

THIS MONTH'S BIBLE NUGGET
Blessed is he who has regard for the weak;
the Lord delivers him in times of trouble.
The Lord will protect him and preserve his life;
he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes.
The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness."
Psalm 41: 1-3

PERSONAL REFLECTION
This week, my youngest daughter Manuela came to visit us with our newest grandson, Christopher Wesley. While my wife Hannelore saw him two months ago, this was my first encounter with my newest little grandson.
This brings the total to 5 grandchildren, 4 boys and 1 girl. All of them, except one, Joshua, live far away from the city we live in (Prince Albert, Saskatchewan). In the physical realm, a drive of 8 to 9
hours or a flight of 10 to 11 hours appears overwhelming. However, I look forward to the day that my grandchildren, even the ones to come (by the way, another is on the way), will come to saving knowledge
of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Once that happens, these grandchildren of mine will become co-heirs with Jesus as I am a co-heir with Him. In the physical realm, they still might be my grandchildren,
but in the spiritual realm they become my brothers and sister in Christ. In the spiritual realm, praise God, there will be no distances. I am looking forward to the day in which each one of them will give
their heart to our Lord and Saviour. Thank you, Father God, for drawing them right now.
